TOUR TANZANIA

A Tanzania safari cannot be complete without visiting Serengeti National Park a place where "land does not end" .The park is the largest and most famous reserve in the country with an area of 5700 square miles. A Tanzania safari to this reserve gives you an opportunity to explore an astonishing diversity of wild animals, birds and amazing cultures. The park is associated with vast open plains, acacia-dotted savannah, wood hills and mountains with high concentration of wildlife in the world and famous for annual animal migration of over one million wildebeest transversing the park in search of new pastures and water.

A safari to Ngorongoro Conservation Area on a Tanzania Safari is worthwhile, the park got its name from a caldera, a crater formed by the collapse of an ancient volcano, this massive caldera is located right in the heart of the Land of the Masai in the Great Rift Valley and the hill slopes of the volcano and it is dotted with water sources that provide a handsome bird population.

Over 20,000 wild animals have been recorded including elephants, buffalos, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, hippos, wildebeest, black rhino, and many more. Visitors here have to descend about 200 feet into the crater to see wild animals grazing by the lakes. The area also contains the Olduvai Gorge, where archaeologists and anthropologists Mary and Louis Leakey discovered nearly two-million-year-old bones and tools from what some believe were the earliest humans.

Situated north of Tanzania, Lake Manyara National Park is an important safari destination in the country. The park has dense forests, bush plains, cliffs and hot springs, this vegetation has enabled handsome populations of wildlife. While here, you should expect to see tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, impalas and a large concentration of baboons. Close to 400 bird species including pink flamingos and yellow billed storks have found here. Other attractions include astonishing cultures, nature walk in the forest and hiking tours. A visit to Lake Tarangire which is positioned south of Lake Manyara is another adventure packed affair, the lake harbours the largest herds of elephants in the country and the region, and it is famous for its eco-system with huge baobab trees.

A tour to Mount Kilimanjaro completes the African safari. Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest Mountain in African with the highest snow peak in the world. Relax on the white-sandy beaches on the Indian Ocean and go home filled with lifelong memories about Africa

Gorilla tracking in Uganda is the most exciting lifetime experience of all time. Gorilla tracking is carried out in only two national parks of Uganda; Bwindi Impenetrable national park and Mgahinga Gorilla national park.

It is a wonderful experience to stare in to the eyes of these gentle giants; watch them in awe as they play and go about their daily activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display.

Gorilla tracking in Uganda sometimes involves walking on steep and slippery slopes and may take anywhere between 1 hour and 8 hours so a reasonable degree of fitness is required.

Gorilla tracking in Uganda is an amazing and rather a very thrilling activity.
