One of the most visited places in Kenya is Masai Mara National Reserve, the land of the graceful Masai.This reserve offers astonishing amount of wildlife, the big five; lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos ,other animals include cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, Warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, and matriarchal clans of spotted hyenas.

Masai Mara is renown for annual migration of a million wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti plains of the neighbouring Tanzania, this phenomenon is an experience once in a life time. In the semi-arid rugged northern Kenya, lies Samburu Game Reserve. Kenya safaris are available year-round, although the best game-viewing periods are during the dry winter months of May through August and the warmer spring months of September and October.

It is a wonderful experience to stare in to the eyes of these gentle giants; watch them in awe as they play and go about their daily activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display.

Gorilla tracking in Uganda sometimes involves walking on steep and slippery slopes and may take anywhere between 1 hour and 8 hours so a reasonable degree of fitness is required.
