SAFARI BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservations and payment

Upon confirming of your holiday with us, you must fill the bookings form and send it back to us which confirms that these terms and conditions are acceptable to you and pay the appropriate deposit.
Please note that full payment is required for bookings made within 4 weeks of departure.

Cancellation.

The deposit is paid to us as a sign of your willingness to utilize travel arrangements and accommodation which we reserve on your behalf. Should you or any member of your booking cancel your holiday, you must do so in writing and all cancellations are subject to a certain charge based on estimated losses and calculated as follows;
For cancellations received 60 - 30 days before departure, 20% of the safari cost is forfeited. For cancellations received 29-15 days before departure, 70% of the safari cost is forfeited. For cancellations received 14 days or less before departure, 100% of the safari cost is forfeited; however you can contact your insurance company for the refund. There will be no refund for gorilla permits as this is a direct policy from the Uganda Wildlife authority.
Please note that if you just post pone your holiday to a definite future date, you will not incur any cancellation charges.

Insurance Scheme.

You are advised to buy travel insurance through your Agent before coming to Uganda, but local evacuation coverage is available in the unlikely event of a medical emergency during the tour. Please request this at the time of booking

Baggage.

All baggage and personal belongings are at all times at the passengers own risk.

Itinerary alterations.

We will do our utmost to provide the holiday arrangements that have been confirmed, but Trinita Safaris reserves the right to modify or alter the itinerary if unforeseen circumstances like flight schedule, security matters, accommodation, make such alterations necessary.

Liability.

It should be noted that your booking is accepted on the understanding that you come on the holiday entirely on your own risk due to the fact that there are certain inherent dangers involved We assume no responsibility whatsoever for injury, personal illness, loss or damage to a person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from act of God, detention, annoyance, delays, expenses arising from quarantine, strikes, thefts, pilferage, force majeure, failure of any means of conveyance to arrive or depart as scheduled, civil disturbances, terrorism, government restrictions or regulations, and discrepancies or changes in hotel services in which Trinita Safaris has no control. Each of these companies is an independent corporation with its own management and is not subject to the control of Trinita Safaris.

Tour prices.

We reserve the right to change any of the prices, services or other particulars contained in the itineraries at any time.

National Parks.

We strongly condemn the collecting of any specimen from the natural world. Our safaris provide the opportunity to watch and photograph wildlife only, not to disturb it!

On advancement of a deposit to Trinita Safaris, the depositor agrees to be bound by the above recited terms and conditions.

Gorilla tracking safaris
Organic farming

Gorilla tracking in Uganda is the most exciting lifetime experience of all time. Gorilla tracking is carried out in only two national parks of Uganda; Bwindi Impenetrable national park and Mgahinga Gorilla national park.

It is a wonderful experience to stare in to the eyes of these gentle giants; watch them in awe as they play and go about their daily activities. Each encounter is different and has its own rewards, but you are likely to enjoy the close view of adults feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters frolic and swing from vines in a delightfully playful display.

Gorilla tracking in Uganda sometimes involves walking on steep and slippery slopes and may take anywhere between 1 hour and 8 hours so a reasonable degree of fitness is required.

Gorilla tracking in Uganda is an amazing and rather a very thrilling activity.
