NAIROBI EXCURSIONS:

NAIROBI NATIONAL MUSEUM AND SNAKE PARK.
Our tour begins with a visit to the Nairobi National Museum where visitors will see original fossils found nowhere else in the world. Visitors will also see an extra ordinary cast on the floor, which clearly records the footprint of man's direct ancestor (Homo erectus) dating 4 million years ago. Visitors will also be exposed to the richness of the history of Kenya and the bird and animal kingdom.
Next to the National Museum in Nairobi is the Snake Park. The park has most of the snake species found in Kenya, enclosed in glass cages or in open pits. Also to be seen in this park is crocodiles and tortoises.

MAMBA VILLAGE AND THE OSTRICH PARK.
The tour will take you to the Mamba Village where you will have your sumptuous meal close to a beautiful man-made lake. After lunch you will get to see crocodiles close up and watch the spectacle as the attendants walk into the crocodiles' enclosures and toss chunks of meat into their waiting mouths.
Visitors can also go fishing in the man-made lake.
A walk across the bridge over the lake leads to the ostrich Park where you can watch the tall birds.

THE BOMAS OF KENYA.
During this tour visitors will see and experience Kenya's different customs, cultures and traditions.
You will enjoy the rich traditional music accompanied by dances at this cultural centre in Nairobi, and then take a guided tour of the different Bomas (huts) within the compound.
A Boma is a traditional homestead. At the Bomas of Kenya you will find 16 Bomas representing the 16 different ethnic groups of Kenya.
The greatest excitement is experienced through the display of traditional dancing, music and songs performed in a splendid arena.

NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK.
Nairobi Safari Walk and David Sheldrick Animal Foundation.
It is the most accessible of all Kenya' game parks being only a few kilometers from the city centre. The park is unique as nowhere in the world exists a wildlife park with such a variety of bird and animal species so close to the capital city.
The tour begins with a morning game drive through the park where visitors will get to see a wide variety of wild animals including the lion, buffalo, cheetah, zebra, giraffe, antelopes and gazelles, and the black rhino, as well as over 400 species of birds. This unique wildlife sanctuary is just a few kilometres from Nairobi's bustling city centre.
Visitors will then visit the David Sheldrick Animal Orphanage where they will get the once in a lifetime chance to feed and play with orphaned baby elephants.
The tour will then proceed to the Nairobi Safari walk at the main park gate, which is a mix between a zoo and an orphanage, where visitors will get to see another mix of wild animals enclosed within their natural habitat.

KAREN BLIXEN MUSEUM AND THE GIRAFFE CENTRE.

A tour of the Karen Blixen Museum situated at the foot of the Ngong Hills. The Museum was originally the home of Karen Blixen of the Out of Africa fame. During this tour you will visit the home of the Legendary Karen Blixen which has been restored by the National Museum of Kenya to preserve her historic life.
Next to the museum is the Giraffe Centre. The park has a small herd of Rothschild's Giraffe which visitors will get a chance to hand-feed.
