AGRO-TOURISM (ORGANIC FARMING TOUR UGNADA) /WILDLIFE TOUR (9 DAYS)

Day 1 : Entebbe -Kampala

On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport Trinita Safaris tour guide will transfer you to hotel in Kampala  at either Sheraton Kampala hotel or Serena Kampala hotel (High class/luxurious accommodation) or Hotel Africana (medium class accommodation) or Hotel Ruch (Budget accommodation)

Day 2: Kampala-Luweero

One of the organic farms Your agro-tourism/wildlife tour  will start at 08:00am driving to famous Luweero triangle, where you will visit Diocese and Bio Uganda farmers .spend time with farmers and get to known their way of life. Have lunch then visit fruit farmers in (i.e. pineapple, apple banana, mangoes, jackfruits) and many more. Bed dinner will be at New Lydress Hotel in Luweero.

Day 3 : Luweero-Nakasongola-Lira

You will visit bee keeping farmers in Nakasongola as you drive towards Lira, Have lunch after, you will visit Outspan Enterprises farmers (sesame) and Lango farmers (cotton). You will also see groundnut farmers. Overnight will be at Lira Hotel.

Day 4 : Lira-Murchison Falls

On this day, drive to Murchison falls with a wonderful game drive where you will see several wild animals, have lunch at Paraa .After lunch, have a three hours boat trip from Paraa to the base of Murchison Falls where you will get to experience the stretch of the Nile with a compelling African atmosphere. Game viewing is excellent, hippos in hundreds, some of the largest crocodiles still left in Africa can be sited, buffalos, birds and boat ride will be organized to view the falls. Retire at Paraa Safari Lodge (upmarket accommodation) Sambiya Lodge (Moderate) and Red Chill Rest Camp (Budget).

Day 5 : Murchison Falls-Masindi

Take an early morning game drive where you will see Bushbuck, Elephants, Giraffe, Lions Oribi, Hyena and Leopard. Board a ferry to Masindi at 2:00 pm via Budongo forest reserve where you will see some of the 366 bird species habiting in the forest and primates such as Olive baboons along the road side, black- and-white monkey, colobus and blue monkeys. Spend a night at Masindi Hotel (moderate) or Court View Hotel (Budget).

Day 6 : Masindi-Fort Portal

Drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal where you will experience verdant country side villages and small scale farms. Fort Portal is situated in the northern foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Fort Portal is not only one of Uganda's most beautiful towns, but it also offers an excellent view across to the glacial peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains to the west. Dinner and overnight will at Rwenzori View Guesthouse. For upgrade you can stay at Mountain of the Moon Hotel.

Day 7 : Fort Portal

After break fast visit farmers/farms like Kahangi Estate, Toro Botanical Gardens and others Toro Place, after, have lunch then relax in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Rwenzori View Guesthouse. For upgrade you can stay at Mountain of the Moon Hotel.

Day 8 : Fort Portal- Kampala

Morning visit to the Nyakasura Caves, have early lunch then depart on a 300km- long road to Kampala via Mubende. Dinner and overnight sleep in Kampala.

Day 9 : Departure

Acquainted with knowledge, skills, lifestyle of Ugandan organic farmers and memorable wild game and birds of Uganda, you will say goodbye to the Country Churchill the White Explorer was not wrong to call the Pearl of Africa. We look forward to seeing you again!
