Trinita Safaris - Birding Safaris.
Uganda is on record for having more bird species per square kilo metre than any other country in Africa. Uganda, boasts a national list of 1008 species and this figure stands for more than half the bird species that can be found in the entire Africa. The key to Uganda's diversity is its variety of habitats namely arid semi-dessert, rich savannahs, lowland and montane rainforests, vast wetlands, volcanoes and an Afro-alpine zone.

On a birding trip to Uganda one is expected to find almost 550 avian species in one park alone and that is Queen Elizabeth National Park for example. 350 species have been recorded in the Bwindi Impenetrable forest - the Home of Mountain Gorillas. These two parks alone are among the richest protected areas to be found anywhere on Earth.

Trinita Safaris offers birding trips to help you discover for yourself. Be it one day, three days or more you can still do birding with us. Please try on us on the following samples and should your interests differ, please contact us.
